葱的一种。茎、叶均较粗大，多在秋、冬季收获。可用以调味、做菜，亦可供药用。
贾思勰 《齐民要术·种葱》引 汉 崔寔 曰：“三月别小葱，六月别大葱。”
泛指茎、叶较为粗者的葱，可用来调味。也称为「老葱」。
