也是中国工农红军的简称。
毛泽东 《长征》诗：“红军不怕远征难，万水千山只等闲。” 丁玲 《一颗未出膛的枪弹》：“红军好嘛！今年春上咱哥哥到过苏区的，说那里的日子过得好，红军都帮忙老百姓耕田咧！”
还指1946年以前的 苏联 陆军。
