英语sight draft
即期汇票也称为见票即付汇票，即在汇票上无到期日的记载，而在收款人或者持票人向付款人提示汇票、请求付款之时，即为到期，付款人应即时付款的汇票。 包括载明即期付款、见票即付或提示付款以及未载明付款日的汇票。逾期后再经承兑或背书的汇票，对该种承兑人或背书人而言，应视为即期汇票。即期汇票一般以提示日为到期日，持票人持票到银行或其他委托付款人处，后者见票必须付款的一种汇票，这种汇票的持票人可以随时行使自己的票据权利，在此之前无须提前通知付款人准备履行义务。
